Reheating Instructions

It is preferable to allow items to thaw for at least 12 hours in the refrigerator.  Casserole dishes may take at least 24 hours to thaw fully.  Cooking from frozen is also fine, although it will take significantly longer and moisture content is reduced, so items may dry out more.  But all of us need last minute meals, so do what you need to!

All Soups

-Thaw soup in original container in the refrigerator overnight.  Pour into soup pot, cover, and reheat over medium-low on stovetop, stirring occasionally.  If the soup is too thick, add 1/2 cup water or broth to thin.  Separation sometimes occurs in soups that contain milk or potatoes, simply whisk to return to original consistency.  Consume within 3 days of thawing.
